Recycled Resolution list…

Recently i was asked what my 2012 New Years Resolutions were, to which i didn’t have a ready answer. i had been thinking off and on about the question but not seriously until i was asked, which immediately reminded me of my list from last year. some i completed but most of them i did not. so i decided i would work on finishing the same list:

  1. Learn how to swim- basically take a swimming class in the summer. i keep dragging my feet on this because it’s my one major fear.
  2. Join a Co-Op- i primarily want to support local businesses and be involved in the community. i loved the Honest Weight Food Co-Op i just haven’t made time or money for it.
  3. Take my vitamins daily- im so infrequent with this… but im buckling down and bought a butt-load of chewable vitamin C and Gummy Vitamins… i will make this fun!
  4. Every time i buy a new article of clothing i give an old one away- whether it’s shoes or sweater…. if one comes in another goes out.
  5. Volunteer at the Albany City Rescue Mission- i’ve been talking about this for years.
  6. Join a running team- well im a member of two but i’ve never actually run with them. So i guess the resolution is to actually run with a legit team.
  7. Organize my garage- im overwhelmed by clutter. so the minute i look at my garage i think of about 500, 000 other things i have to do…
  8. Get through the Bible in one year- im still on day 62 from last year. yeah….
  9. Stick to a budget- i tweaked this a lot last year and always feel like theres an exception…. this year exceptions not allowed.
  10. Finish all the books i started last year-um, this is a very long list but i think i can, i think i can…
  11. Live every day like it’s my best and last- i’m mostly good at this already but i have my moments where life isn’t fun and im lazy… and Mike mostly sees them.
  12. Qualify for the Boston Marathon- i missed this by half an hour last year. i can definitely do a better job with my training and eating habits.
